Lightweight and designed with a contoured form, the Shoulder Pad from SmallRig enables you to comfortably shoulder-mount your Sony PXW-FX9 camera rig. It features a contoured, ergonomic foam pad attached to an aluminum mounting plate that replaces the original FX9 shoulder pad.
The aluminum side allows you to mount the unit onto the bottom of the camera using its captive screws once the original pad is removed. The front portion of the plate features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads on the bottom that allow you to mount the camera onto an optional quick release plate, dovetail, or other baseplate when you want to transfer from shoulder to tripod mounting.
